Gay Prague - Hotels

We are looking into 3 or 4 nights in Prague this summer and was hoping someone could help with hotel suggestions. We would like to stay close to the gay night-life area (so I am assuming Praha 2,3 - And somewhat along Vinohradská)

I have seen the Holiday Inn Express on the other side of the train station and also the Marriott Courtyard which is on Lucemburska and Baranova.

In regards to the Marriott - What is this area like? Is it too far from the sights downtown? I thought we may find some more authentic and cheaper dinning options outside of the old city. I believe it is near a large shopping mall.

Any help with this?

Not being an authority on the matter, this should cover all you need to know :)

I wasn%26#39;t aware that there was a gay night-life area as such, but you learn something every day...

Hope this helps!

The Courtyard Flora is in a great loction, right next to both tram and metro, 10 min from downtown. close by is the hotel Triska, if you like it more authentic, but the service is far away from what the Marriott offers. www.hotel-triska.cz

Matrina - Thank you for your help. Is this more of a residential area?

Yes, it is. Vinohrady is the best area to live in Prague - for me. I live there :-) Great restaurants and neighborhood shopping, no tourists.

That sounds perfect! I look forward to finding some good places to eat!
