Good time to visit Czech at January 2009?

We are planing to visit Czech from 25/01/2009 till 01/02/2009. This is the only long holiday without worry of company operation we can have. Would anyone tell me whether this is the best timing?

This is the first time we visit Czech, can anyone tell me what%26#39;s the common language used? With 7days in Czech, how much can we explore?

Thank you very much for any input.

It is the best time of the year - nice and cold, not many tourists...

Obviously Czech is the common language, but English and German are widely understood...

GCEK,

Thanks for you info! We r now seaching all the travel spot info from the forums and the best deal for airticket as no direct flight from KL/Singapore to Czech.

Very excited and nervous for this trip. Good news for not much tourist %26amp; nice weather during the time we r going. Thanks again!

The waether could be anything between freezing, snow, rain and sunshine - who knows! Check the weather forecast a few days before going is my advice...

|||

Exactly - I didn%26#39;t say it would necessarily be nice, just nice and cold!

|||

Freezing? Snow? Wow.. this is the weather we never experience before, not sure whether we can handle it...

Coming rom Malaysis it might be a shock to the system, but dress up warmly and you will be fine! Whatever, it is better than the height of the summer when it is stiflingly hot and full of tourists. Life gets back to approaching %26#39;normal%26#39; in January/February.

Tot to change destination to Australia but you are true also, we already get hot enough in Malaysia, should try some other weather experience :p

Thank you for all the information given.
