Painted eggs.....are these a seasonal item only?

I love these eggs (not quite sure if they are actual eggs or something in the shape of an egg) and thought they%26#39;d be great (and inexpensive) to bring back for friends as Christmas tree decorations....but are these available year round or only at Easter? Thanks!

(sorry for my lack of cultural knowledge....no offense intended)

I have visited Prague at many different times of year and have always seen these painted eggs .i have never bought any so can%26#39;t say if they are real eggs or wooded /plastic /tin etc.

also look in the Crystal shops for Bohemian crystal tree decorations.

You can get the eggs all year round at the market on Hastalska.

It will depend when you are going if there are any christmas decs , We always get ours when we visit in January because they are reduced in price , but I have noticed when we have gone at other times that a few of the crystal shops still have them in especially a couple of shops on Celetna.
