The Castle Steps or somewhere else?

Hi

I have just booked flights for Prague in August and now looking for somewhere to stay. I have emailed The Castle Steps having read the reviews on here and they have the Almond Apartment and Sycamore Apartment available - I was just wondering if anyone had stayed in these rooms recently?

Also do you find Air conditioning necessary in the Summer months?

I have stayed there but not in those rooms in particular. When we return to Prague we will stay there again - it is a good place with a great location. Very easy walking distance to everything.

We have only been there in Spring and Fall when it is not as hot so cannot comment on your August visit as far as A/C goes. I am extremely heat intolerant (hate heat) so I definitely would have A/C.

We didn%26#39;t have air at our hotel, many Prague hotels do not have central air. They have portable air conditioners instead at these hotels. It%26#39;s a unit with a hose attachment to suck out the hot air and bring you nice cool air via electric.
