B&B Apartment Prague Address: Seifertova 91, Praha 3 (Praha)

Hi, Does anyone have a review/recommendation for the B%26amp;B Apartment situated in Prague. It%26#39;s rate/week is very low and it had no reviews or star rating.

I provided the address in the Topic Header for reference.

Any input is welcome.

Thanks,

Rupert

I know a few people who have stayed here and I%26#39;ve not heard anything bad. The Prague B%26amp;B Association owns the whole building and have divided it into different types of accom from Studios to 2 bed I believe.

Only drawbacks so far is the front facing apts are 20 metres from the tram tracks. This is also an advantage as there is a night tram service as well. The other strange thing is that you have to order the breakfast in advance as it is served in the cafe next door. You can walk to the Old Town Square in about 30 mins but it%26#39;s not very scenic. Best to buy a travel pass as you%26#39;ll use the tram everyday.

I stayed there in 2000 ( a long time) and everything was perfect! They had a lot of nice recommendations for visitor, how to take the trams, dinner, etc. But there´s no one staying there to help you. It´s an apartment and you are on your own. Back then I paid 12 dollars a day!

The breakfast was served in a mixture of Lan House/Bar, it was not the best breakfast ever, and the ambiance of the place was a little weird (you actually ate breakfast on a pool table that they converted into a table during the day), but that was it.

The area of the B%26amp;B was not THE best (outside of the historical center) but totally acceptable.

There´s a pub almost in front of the building (at least there was one in 2000) where I ate some of the best food ever!

Enjoy!

seifertova street is in zizkov, which as Cmello says is not the best area in prague and there are no supermarkets nearby if you want to buy breakfast. it does have direct tram connection to the centre.

a tramline runs day and night down seifertova street, so you will need a room at the back of the building if you are a light sleeper

We recently stayed at this %26quot;bed and breakfast%26quot; in April 2008. Although the price is nice, I would not recommend staying here unless you are a very heavy sleeper or plan to be out patrying until the early morning hours. Breakfast is not included in the price. It is located near the tram line and there is a bar underneath the building (this is where you pick up your keys and pay for everything in advance) that is extremely loud. We stayed here on Saturday through Tuesday and there was very loud music and yelling coming from the bar each night until about 3am and plenty of drunk people outside. Even with ear plugs, we couldn%26#39;t sleep. Spend a little more money and get a better place to stay in this beautiful city. If you plan to stay out and party every night, this place is cheap, close to a tram stop, close to the main train station, and may be a little sketchy at night.
