Getting to Prague from L.A. - best routes for fares?

Looking at going to Prague in August and am wondering if anyone has a recommended route to get there. We could stop in Orlando, Florida or Las Vegas easily, and could fly in either to Prague or Berlin or Munich, which are nearby.

What tends to work best for fares and nonstops? (I know there%26#39;s a Las Vegas nonstop to somewhere in Germany.) Would like to avoid having to go through Washington, D.C., NYC, London, etc.

Fiddle with www.kayak.com!

LAX-MUC Lufthansa

LAX-FRA Lufthansa

LAX-DUS Air Berlin/LTU

and then short hops to PRG

Really expensive in August compared to may!

I am flying LA - NY-London-Prague....I think Miami is a better route, they have direct flight to Prague

Thank you all!

Aer Lingus direct to Dublin arrive in morning then afternoon flight to Prague. Only problem its expensive in August.

Delta and Airfrance stopover in Paris

US Airways and Lufthansa stopover in Frankfurt

These are from Los Angeles

NEVER transfer in Paris. It is the worse airport EVER to transfer in. If you decide not to listen to me and transfer through Paris, you must have at least 3 hours in between. Minimum of 2.5 hours.

Try looking on www.skyscanner.net

Not sure what they can do for you route wise but do check out Vayama.Com . They are a new company that deals in international flights.

We are traveling to Europe next week and booked our flights the end of last year. Even almost 6 months later I could have gotten a better deal with them. Our daughter just used them to go to China. One of her traveling companions lost her passport ect on arrival and one call to Vayama and they took care of everything for her. They also got the best fares available AND were happiest with the flights available. Hope they can help you.

Thank you all!
