I have visited three times with my wife, but in May i`m returning (as a guide) for my Brother-in-laws stag party. I`m assuming that most of the smaller locals pubs that i love will not be best pleased if 12 Geordies descend on them -
What pubs will allow us all in for beers?
Are brewery visits worth the effort?
Is it worth getting a proper guided tour?
Please help, i`m looking forward to the trip but need to plan carefully!

if there%26#39;s no sign at the door or a bouncer you can try. usually a better chance around wenceslas square, even worse, they%26#39;ll drag you in. therefor you%26#39;ll be paying at least double compared to a normal pub.
never went on a brewery tour in prague but if you go, don%26#39;t be late, they won%26#39;t let you in, after the tour has started, i%26#39;ve heard. nice pub in the same building, na verandech, think potrefena husa took over recently, still a good pub.
there are guided pub tours, if that was the question and a lot of people seem to enjoy it. there are also companies like praguepissup.com that do arrangements for stag parties...

Went on brewery tour (Staropramen) in Oct 2007. We felt we really needed to visit a brewery....after all, we were in Prague! It was actually pretty lame........especially since they no longer brew the beer at that location! And it cost money besides. I wouldn%26#39;t visit them again.

cheers for the tips!
I`m checking various pub guide websites to make sure we don`t offend anyone.
