Please help with my current tram confusion

Hi Guys

First night of arrival in Prague, we need to get to

U Patyrku, address is Belehradska 15. their directions say pick up tram 6 or 11 from I.P. Pavlova metro. Get off at Namesti Brasti Synku.

We are quite close to Narodni Trida, and I think Unclegus said we can pick up tram 6 from this area?

This is where I%26#39;m thick! I have found the restaurant street location on a map, but I can%26#39;t match that to the tram lines on maps I can see. I can see us getting on the wrong tram or going in the wrong direction as we%26#39;ll not quite have bearings when we first get there.

So, can someone direct me to a user friendly tram map that will show our destination. And, if we can pick up the tram at Narodni Trida, how do I make sure I%26#39;m going in the right direction if I can%26#39;t see my destination listed? LOL

Please help.

Thanks

Have you tried this one? It is relatively user-friendly!

best if I attached the link :)

Thanks, GCEK

But, I still can%26#39;t find my destination.

I can see you can pick up tram 6 at Narodni Trida, head in the direction of I.P. Pavola and keep going, and that follows towards the map location of this restaurant. However, the tram 6 appears to go no further than Kambanske Nam. And, I don%26#39;t even see the Namesti Bratri Synku stop, even with changing to another tram.

Tram 6 does not appear to go far enough?

The map does not appear to show my destination?

Stoofer I will check my maps tonight and get back to you.I have been out to this place before .

|||

Get the number 6 to Bruselska and then number 11 to Namesti bratri synku

Total journey of 18 minutes

|||

Thanks GCEK

Those stops weren%26#39;t on the map. Now I see it on a lonely planet detailed map. I thought it was a direct tram, so a bit misleading on restaurant web-site. Now I understand!

This could be hassle getting back at night with wife and daughter, have you any idea what a cab fare should be?

Oh, thanks for looking Unclegus. GCEC has found it for me but any advice you have on getting there and back would be welcome, as I know you%26#39;ve eaten here before. Is it far to walk from the tram stop?

Thanks guys

this link will give you the instructions from the venue.

get the tram no6 from the opposite side of the road from Tesco

|||

we got off a stop too early but it was just a 5 minute walk away no real problem.

Hi Uncle

This Tesco, is on Narodni Trida, Yes?

The Restaurant site is confusing, because it says 6 OR 11. It doesn%26#39;t say you have to change from 6 TO 11. Yet, Tram 6 doesn%26#39;t appear to stop at Nemesti Brati Synku, the map says as GCEK avised, change at

Bruselska. Did you only use tram 6 and then walk?

If we have to change trams, do you think it easier to get a cab? If so, what is the likely charge?

If it was me I%26#39;d walk but with wife %26amp; daughter it might be hassle getting back?

Your thoughts appreciated.

Yes the Tesco is at Narodni Trida,you really cant miss it,and it is a central hub for trams and metro.

we acatually got the 11 there as we were comimg froma different part of the city ,but still got off too early,but it was an easy walk ,just when we went it was pitch dark (very early March) the tram no 6 may turn off just aroound the corner from the resturant ( does acording to my map but it really only is a few minutes walk I am sure you will find the place ok.

as there a 3 of you a taxi is an option and i doubt would be very expensive.
