buget hotel in prague

i am travelling from berlin to prague by train on the DB. can anyone reccommend a decent budget hotel that is convenient and sensible for a first time trip to prague? any advice greatly appreciated. thanks.

Waht is your %26quot;budget%26quot;? If you can give it in numbers, it might help others to answer. And when you are going as the prices changes depending on the season.

Usually €100 isn%26#39;t too bad considering March is not a high season yet, EXCEPT you are talking about the EASTER WEEKEND. This is considered one of the top season, that%26#39;s even more expensive than ordinary high season + good value hotels are likely all gone. I wished you had tried to book earlier. Time is running out on you. Go to booking sites such as venere.com and see availability. If you can find availability in areas such as Mala Strana, Stare Mesto (Old Town), Josefov, Nove Mesto (New town), they are central. Even other areas Smichove, etc are not bad. Then read reviews on this site. For a try I put 22 - 24 March and got very few availability. At least all my favorite hotels are gone (naturally). Good luck!
