Several people have said to stay in Old Town, but there were many Trip Advisor recommendations to stay at the Arcadia Residence. Is that in a good location? Would you pick area over the place itself? I will only have 2 days, 1 night in Prague.

I would stay in the Old Town if I only had one night. Arcadia residence is not far out, and the beauty of it is the family that runs it.

Hi Silverfoote... Last July I had booked a room at Arcadia well in advance, but the owner offered us a room in a new hotel called Hotel Dar, which is just around the corner from the main square (the one with the clock tower). I think he had some kind of referral or affiliation with them, as they didn%26#39;t have a website up and running at the time.
It%26#39;s not a full service hotel, but I would recommend it for a quick visit. The location is fantastic and there were no problems with the hotel.
Regards,

With only one night, I would stay in the Old Town area. Both these hotels were great and in the middle of tourist attractions. Iron Gate Suites %26amp; Ventana. There are several others as well.
