What should we do on our frist evening in Prague?

We will be arriving in Prague around 5.00-6.00pm. Since we will have only one evening and 2 full days in Prague. I know that we will not have enough time to see this beautiful city. We just want to spent every minute .

What should we do on our first evening in Prague? It is our 5th year anniversary and we want it to be so special.

Prague has so many different things to offer. I thought our first night spent at the State Opera performance was fantastic. Beautiful romantic theatre and a wonderful ballet. But it may not be your cup of tea. I think there is entertainment for every taste so you may want to research what kind of entertainment you know you will enjoy. If you%26#39;re unsure of a particular club or venue you can post a question here about other%26#39;s experience with that particular place. :)

Go up to the roof terrace at the U Prince hotel and have cocktails , the views are amazing.

Take the subway to malostranska

Follow the road luzickeho seminare for 100m and then go left and you`ll get by the riverside. You get to karluv most during the night with swans around you ...

And when (and if) you decide to leave take a walk around Certovka and after walk Karluv most. In the evening is not crowded and you enjoy the real beauty of it

Take a walk over Charles Bridge and see the castle all lite up at night.

I heard a lot of good thing about a restaurant at U Prince. I was wondering how expensive it is. I went to U Prince website, it show the menu of the restaurant but do not have menu for a Terrace. Anyone know?

The menu for the terrace is virtually the same as the restaurant down stairs, just a prior warning dont expect the staff up there to be friendly ,all the years we have been going I have never seen one crack a smile, I think it is better service downstairs and listening to the jazz band adds to the atmosphere, but do go up for a drink and be in awe of the view.

we come back from prague 6 weeks ago and had a lovely meal in the mala strana area in a restaurant called hertgova near the charles bridge ,and when the bridge is lit up at night it looks lovely if you ask for a table near the window.

really nice food.
