Berlin to Prague

I am looking for a one way ticket from Berlin to Prague. I have heard that you can get one for 30 euros but I am having trouble using the website bahn.de. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

What problem are you having with the website? I have just had a look, and there are indeed some saver fares for 29 Euros which you can purchase on-line, but you need to book them well in advance as they go quickly.

i cannot find the place on the website where it says that. can you give me directions please?

1. http://www.db.de/site/bahn/en/start.html

2. Enter from Berlin to Praha and date (don%26#39;t worry about the time) and click on search

3. On nthe next page scroll down a bit and enter your age (this only makes a difference if you arte an OAP or child), but you need to enter it anyway, and click on search connection

4. YOu should have a list of all the available trains and the associated prices - there should be another button with %26#39;check availablility%26#39; - click on this, and you can see whether they have been sold out or not.

5. Purchase in the usual manner

But do it quickly as they sell like hot cakes!

thank you for all your help. i can only find avaliablity for 58 euros, maybe the 30 euros are all sold out. you seem to be knowledable so i have a another question. do you think it is necessary to buy tickets before we go or there is a better chance if we buy them at the train station?

|||

If all the %26#39;cheap%26#39; tickets are sold out, then you might as well buy them at the station. You never know, there might be some special offers on the day!

But if you want to be really sure that your reservation has been made, buy on-line - it%26#39;s entirely up to you. However, I%26#39;m not sure whether these ones can be printed off, or whether they need to be posted to your home address - if the latter, then just get them on the day.

|||

If you can%26#39;t get the 29€ offer, you can buy your tickets at the station. The trains can never sell out, the tickets are flexible.

Another possibility is to buy them online and have them sent by mail (works great, free of charge) or walk to the nearest RENFE-station with larger ticket office and buy them there (usually no problem to buy any rail ticket for travel in Europe at any larger european railway station).
