My wife makes quilts and would like to buy some fabric or material from Prague. Is there a good shop in Prague that has a good selection of material or fabric?

There are plenty of material shops in Prague. My favourite was MarLen which I think has the best selection. They have a wide variety of different fabrics for household textiles in cottons, wools, silk etc.
MarLen is hidden on a backstreet called Karolíny Světlé 12, not too far from the National Theatre (Narodni Divadlo). It is open Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.
You could also try Tesco at Narodni Trida which has a fair selection on the 4th floor and also is open on Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you so much for the information. My wife will think of you when she designs her next quilt.

Latky, Krakovska 14, right off the Wenceslas Square

Thank you so much for the information. My wife is so appreciative. You don%26#39;t know where there is a coin shop that sells old Bohemia coins from the 1100-1700 do you?

MarLen is a great shop. I lost my wife in there and wasn%26#39;t sure when I%26#39;d get her back. Not large, but they are dedicated to what they sell. Fine button selection as well. We stayed in the same block, and it%26#39;s not particularly difficult to find, and a block off the tram. Also close to U Medviku and all their fine beer.

Coinhound, I would suggest you post this question on www.expats.cz, there might be more of a chance of a coin specialist on there.

Thank you everyone for your help.
