transportation from train station

plans have changed and we%26#39;re staying at Leonardo Hotel, but we arrive by train at 9pm from Salzburg/Linz.

What%26#39;s the best way to get to the hotel at that hour? Taxi? Tram/metro?

Which train is that? There doesn%26#39;t appear to be such a train arriving at that time - there is one from Linz that arrives at 9.55pm, but Salzburg is notoriously difficult to reach from Prague, and vice versa.

Anyway, it is actually not far from the main station to Karoliny Světlé your hotel%26#39;s street) as the crow flies, but getting to it by public transport is a bit tricky if you are not familiar with the way things work - tram no. 5 to Strossmayerovo namesti (4 stops) and then no. 17 to Karlovy lazne (5 stops), from where you will have to walk a little bit to the hotel.

I would therefore suggest a taxi - according to this site there is a number to call for arranging it accommodation-praha.hotel-cs.com/Leonardo.htm (don%26#39;t use this site to find out your hotel%26#39;s location as it points to somewhere completely different out in the hills!) - now whether that is direct to a taxi firm or not I don%26#39;t know. I will leave it to somebody else to advise you on taxis as I never use the things when in Prague.

Hope this helps!

You%26#39;re right...it arrives at 955pm.

I was thinking taxi is best. Shouldn%26#39;t cost too much
