I know in Paris, there is a green cross/pharmacy on every block....is it the same for Prague? Instead of hassling with ever changing airport/travel restrictions, I%26#39;d rather just buy the lotions/toothpaste, etc. when I arrive in Prague.
The same crosses are here, where are you staying?
not sure yet....I%26#39;m not travelling until September so I%26#39;m still researching hotels. So far, the Arcadian Residence or Hotel Belvedere are my top choices.
Don%26#39;t worry - it is quite civilised. All the things that you might be used to at home are available here too! As Praguepivo says, the green crosses are the same as in Paris.
LOL.....I wasn%26#39;t doubting the level of civilization in the Czech Republic, I was only asking if the pharmacies/green crosses were consistent across Europe, or what would be the Czech version of a Monoprix....
Thanks!

The green cross, Lekarna, is over the counter medicine. There are seperate stores for toiletries. Schlecker, DM, Rossmann
And Tesco sells everything as well...
Or if you want the posh stuff, then there is always Christian Dior on Parizska :)
Thanks! I%26#39;ll check out a Tesco, etc., it sounds like exactly what I%26#39;m looking for.
There is a Tesco in Prague centre...not sure of the address but if you look up Tesco stores online Im sure you would find it. We bought our toiletries there.
There is a large Tesco%26#39;s on Narodni trida.

There are supermarkets everywhere. I found one at the Metro stop in Wenceslas Square. I am certain that you can find anything that you want or need in Prague.
