Inexpensive Restaurants near the Imperial Hotel

Wonder if you can help. We have just booked a last minute long weekend to Prague and wondered if anyone could recommend affordable restaurants within walking distance of the Imperial in Na Porici street?

Also, has anyone used the public shuttle bus from Prague back to the airport? I am travelling in a taxi with my husband to the Hotel but will have to make my own way back to the airport and I think that the shuttle leaves from near the Imperial in V Celnici Street. is it reliable?

It is my first trip to Prague and the Czech Republic so any advice would be most welcome.

They will recommend you nearby restaurants in the hotel. In Obecni Dum (www.obecnidum.cz) at Namesti Republiky are 2 restaurants, Francouzska (French) and Plzenska (Pilsner). The Pilsner one is definitely affordable. But no worries, there are plenty of places all around.

The shuttle bus leaves from V Celnici street right from Czech Airlines City Center Office. I would expect it is reliable. I would recommend: (1) check departure time of the airport shuttle, (2) between 8AM till 6PM allow 60 minutes travel time from city center to the airport, otherwise 40 minutes, (3) Check-in time at the airport allow 60 minutes.

There is also Yessi Cafe at V Celnici and next to it is the Czech pilsner restaurant Celnice
