Lary Fary??

For my last night in Prague, I asked the hotel where I%26#39;ll be staying (Maximilian) to recommend a nice restaurant (light food without heavy sauces) within walking distance. I%26#39;ve already made dinner reservations for the other nights. The hotel recommended Lary Fary, which I%26#39;ve never heard of or read about in any of my research. Is anyone familiar with this restaurant? if so, what is your opinion?

Maybe because you misspell it? Larry with 2 r%26#39;s. Doing a search on this forum gives 13 hits. (Seems to have positive reviews.) Same with googling, correct spelling is important.

Thanks, kat1. I%26#39;ll search for it with the correct spelling. That was the spelling provided by the hotel.

Lust4Travel, just a funny story about the hotel staff: They were very nice and tried to help as much as possible, but one night I came in and asked if they had any messages for me. The gentleman told me %26#39;yes%26#39; and directed me to the basement floor. I was a little confused as to why I%26#39;d have to go downstairs to pick up a message, but I did as instructed. When I arrived at the lower floor, it was the hotel Spa... He%26#39;d sent me to get a massage, not to retrieve a message! :-)

So, their English is not always sharp, which might explain the misspelling. But they were always very nice!

Canucknyc: Thanks. I think Lary Fary (correct spelling after all) has morphed its name to Kolkovna. And I have seen the name Kolkovna several times in these forums but, of course, did not make the connection until you provided the link to the website. Have you eaten there? Is it mostly a sushi restaurant? What did you think of the food?

Sorry, haven%26#39;t eaten there. Just stumbled on the website as I was looking for ideas for my upcoming trip :-). I hope someone can help you!

Soryy LaRy Fary is after all the corretc spelling. Did you you do a search on this forum? There 80 posts with mention of the restaurant (vs only 13 with wrongly spelled LaRRy Fary).

kat1: It%26#39;s spelled Lary Fary on its own website so I assume that it%26#39;s the correct spelling. Yes, I did search for Lary Fary on this forum but did not come up with 80 hits. About a dozen or so.
