Has anyone stayed here and had experience going to and from the airport? Any advice would be welcome.

My best advice is use this website to book taxi (we used them and very glad we did)
www.prague-airport-transfers.co.uk
We booked and paid online and our taxi was there waiting for us (even though our flight was delayed 3 hours) i would highly recommend this great company.

As your hotel is in Prague 5 (I think) then taxi to the hotel would be a good idea. This allows you start your trip less stressed. However on the return to the airport, if you want to save some money, then get the metro into town and change to the metro line which ends at Dejvice. From there you can get the bus to the airport (bus 112). If you buy a transport pass for the day you are leaving you can get all tram and metro transport as well as this bus included. On the way back to the airport use the metro to Dejvice, go up to ground level, cross the road and slightly to your left you will see the bus stop for the 112. Plenty of room for luggage and stops announced in English. It is a local bus but has no problem accommodating people on their way to the airport - it pulls up just across the road from departures. If you wanted to you could use this on your arrival. To do that study the Prague metro system and find the stop nearest your hotel. However I have found that when I arrive in a new city I just want to get settled in the hotel as quickly as possible and as I%26#39;m on my holidays a taxi is the best way to do that.

From the airport take Bus No. 100 to underground station %26quot;Zlicin%26quot;. At %26quot;Zlicin%26quot; take underground line %26quot;B%26quot; (there is no other one at %26quot;Zlicin%26quot;). Exit at station %26quot;Andel%26quot;.
Hotel Akcent is right at the underground station Andel (be careful - this station has two exits: South and North; you need to take the exit South - easy: upon getting off the train just turn left opposite to the direction of the train you have just arrived with; that%26#39;s it).
This exercise will cost you exactly CZK 26,- (equivalent to ca. EUR 1,-) per person, ticket to be purchased at the airport, validated inside the bus, same ticket is valid for the whole journey (incl.underground). Taxi will cost you CZK 700,- (equivalent EUR 27,-).

Hi We stayed there last year yellow taxi from outside the airport I wrote down the name and address of the hotel there are girls who speak good English to help you wasnt to dear cant remember exactly how much. On way back we took the underground which is right outside hotel to Zlicin and the 100 bus to airport was really easy suppose it depends on your flight times.
