My friend and I have 8 days effectively (10 days, but one is coming in and the other is leaving.) We%26#39;re determined to go to Prague and spend at least 3 days there. Where else should we go?
Places we%26#39;ve considered
-Salzburg
-Fussen
-The Romantic Road (in Germany)
-Munich

Why not go the other way and save a bit of money and see some fabulous things on your way - the Czech Republic has a lot to offer, including 12 UNESCO world heritage sites http://whc.unesco.org/en/statesparties/cz which should keep you busy for a start. Most, if not all, of these places can be reached by train cheaply and efficiently.
Have a good time!

Definitely see more of the Czech Republic. I would highly recommend seeing castles south of Prague (i.e. Orlik or Zvihov), Cesky Krumlov, Telc and Kutna Hora. It is a fabulous country. You get a better feel of the real country outside of Prague (as Prague is chock full of tourists).
The Cesky Raj area (north) is glorious as well.
