Prague apartment recomendations?

My girlfriend and I will be staying in Prague October 4th through 6th. Looking for reasonable, but still nice apartment near old town. Walking distance to restaurants, main attractions, and nightlife ideal. Other party on trip staying at Residence Masna, but it is full. Looking at Residence Principe, Residence Karolina, or Nerudova. Outside patio/terrace available at Karolina and Principe and would be nice, but don%26#39;t know if these are worth it this time of year. and not sure of location of Nerudova. We are not necessarily sold on these three. Any ideas on these apartments, or other ones that may be a better fit for us? Looking for under 150 euro per night. Thanks.

Pasquale from Arcadia Residence has appartments downtown, check with him.

if another party is staying on masna, nerodova might be to fare from there. not sure about the other two...

Hi there

I have stayed in the Nerudova apartments and they are situated at the base of the castle steps. Apartments are large and personally i think its a wonderful location. Rooms are huge (maybe too large really) and the view out from our bedroom window was fantastic. I booked through www.apartments.cz and had no trouble whatsoever. First time in apartment accommodation but thoroughly enjoyable and will certainly use them again.

One note, the location is probably not great if any party has walking difficulties as the streets are cobbled and can be quite steep in some areas.

I know of an appartment close by, neart Kotva, contact terezanagyova@seznam.cz, +420 775 633 730.

Or Krischimir, they have great appartments around the Old Town Square, +420 777 713 025. A friend booked their appartment in Tynska street, only a short walk from Masna Residence at 119 Euros a night.

residence principe is on odboru behind the national theatre about 20 minutes walk from the masna. residence karolina is on karoliny svetle street about 15 minutes walk from masna. as others have said, nerudova across the river and up the castle hill is too far away.

whilst residence karolina is nearest, I would not bother with an outdoor terrace in october. as well as the other suggestions above, for 150 euros a night in october you can get a decent hotel room and needn%26#39;t bother with an apartment. look at the casa marecello less than 5 minutes walk from masna

I dont know how far is residence masna, but we were staying at apartments at Husova street and were really satisfied. Anyway we are family (2 children) and we returned from Prague last week.

The apartments are really spacious with equipped kitchen and we also met some couple (honeymoons people) who were living in the same building and they suggested us to visit also Vysehrad and Petrin (the small eifel tower). I dont know how the weather is in Prague in October but the weather in April was quite unpredictable but this was only small black point during our stay there.
