Opera tickets Prague

I am planning a trip to Prague, does anyone know a good ticket agency for booking opera? Also any other good sources of info about the city would be useful.

I have used this company several times and have had then deliver tickets to my hotel (for a small fee).

I found a really useful on line guide to Prague on www.parisfranceguide.com:81/index.php…

The thing that makes it different from other guides is that it suggests you start your visit to the city the opposite way round to everyone else, which is really helpful if you want to avoid a lot of other tourists. They recommended an agency to book the opera through. It’s called divento.com and it has fairly detailed info on everything going on in Prague. You can decide whether you want to pick the tickets up from the box office or have them delivered to you hotel. As it was my wife’s anniversary, we booked a driver through them to pick us up and take us to the opera and to a restaurant after the restaurant. We loved Prague and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We’ll be back there soon!

I used to use Bohemia Ticket Agency when i lived there.

Be sure to only go to events at the State Opera House (Statni Opera), National Theatre (Narodni Divadlo) or Estates Theatre (Stavoske Divadlo).

Sometimes there are also good programs at Obecni Dum and the Rudolfium, but anything in a church is a tourist trap.

Hi There,

We used www.ticketsonline.cz for our tickets last Xmas and wouldn%26#39;t hesitate to use them again.

Also found much info on theatres and productions on their web site.

Tickets were delivered to the hotel (as is the norm)and a box cost us just £54 for the pair of us. Best birthday for a long while.

Don%26#39;t know if site covers all venues in Praque.

One point - if you get the box, don%26#39;t bother with the cloakroom. There are hangers at the back of the box and you can avoid the 20 minute queue after the production.
