Travelling to Prague In May

My friend and myself are travelling to Prague, on an organised bus tour from London. We are staying for four nights in the Albion Hotel, (I know the reviews are not good, but have decided to make the best of it!). We have free time in Prague, and would like to know the best way for two middle-aged ladies to travel from Hotel to city centre, also what is the weather like in May in Prague?

We went to Prague last May (18th-20th) and the weather was beautiful, really warm and sunny and about 25 degrees centigrade each day. Not sure if your hotel is near a tramline or not, but they%26#39;re a great way to get around. Have fun!

Just spoke to my wife, apparently the last day we were there the temperature was in the 30%26#39;s! And also, for getting around, Prague has a really good Metro system too. Taxis aren%26#39;t really recommended, if you do get one it%26#39;s best to agree the price with them before getting in!

your hotel is in the Smichov area and is not on a tram route.I think(looking at my map) you will be a 10-15 minute walk from Andels metro/tram interchange and there should be buses that will get you to Andels.lots of transport options from there to all over the city.

about the weather I have visited both in early May and in late May and the weather has been reasonably warm, had a bit of rain on my last trip ,(early may 2007) but nothing that a light raincoat couldn%26#39;t keep off.

there is a bus stop 25 meters from the hotel which will take you to the Andels metro/tram stop in about 15-20 minutes, they run frequently and are reliable. I just talked to a radio DJ this morning who said May might reach 40!!! Let%26#39;s hope not
