Pensione Bonaparte or Hotel Akcent and Transport / Parking ?

Hello

We are going to Prague for my husband%26#39;s 50th in August. We will be driving from Berlin. We are looking for hotels, around 100 Euro per night, with air conditioning and possibility of parking (either on street or free parking at hotel). We would rather not have to pay 20 Euro or so on private parking per night.

Is it dangerous to not to take one of these private parking places ie thefts etc?

We would prefer to park and use public transport whilst in Prague. I have found 2 hotels through reading reviews on trip advisor. They cost about the same, are in the same area both get very good reviews.

1 Pensione Bonaparte Euro 91 per night with free parking

2 Hotel Akcent Euro 89 per night but no parking.

Both are near the Andel Metro Stop.

Anyone stayed in either hotel?

Can anyone tell me if there is parking on street in the hotel Akcent area ?

What time do the trams / metro stop at night or are there night trams too ?

Lastly approx how much would a taxi cost at night to return to this area.

Sorry to bombard you all with so many questions but your help is really appreciated.

to pay for safe parking is a good thing in prague, especially with foreign license plates.

some friends of mine from germany were staying near there, at arpacay hostel on radlicka street. they had their old car parked on the street, infront a 24/7 bar and everything was fine but i wouldn%26#39;t risk it.

also, since then you need a parking permission in many areas of prague, don%26#39;t know around these hotels. nearby is parking in shopping malls, don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s 24 hours and cheaper.

the metro runs till midnight, the tram 24 hours, 3 or 4 different numbers at night, no problem to get back to the hotel. a taxi city-andel is roughly 200.?

if the free parking is in a courtyard of the pension or somewhere safe, i%26#39;d take the bonaparte...

Thanks Heinokules

We are going to take your advice. I have just contacted the pensione bonaparte to book. thanks also for the information about public transport and taxis. I didn%26#39;t realise that trams would run so late.

We are really looking forward now to our trip
