Lobkowicz Palace Article

Nice article in April/2008 Travel and Leisure magazine. It looks beautiful. Quote %26quot;In a fairy-tale twist, a historic Czech palace is reclaimed and restored by its rightful owner.%26quot;

My favourite castle in the Czech Republic that is owned and lived in by its %26#39;rightful%26#39; owner is Nove Mesto nad Metuji which is near Nachod - it is well worth a visit but would require an overnight stay. http://english.novemestonm.cz/

I%26#39;ve got two favourite castles in CZ.

Křívoklat, not far from Beroun. The location is from a fairy tale, it%26#39;s pretty safe from the herds that plague Karlštejn, and has a lovely atmosphere.

And Zvíkov. Another fairy tale castle. Located near Písek, at the spot where the Vltava and Otava joins, great views and the best is that by paying only 50CZK you can wander about as you please making pictures of the rather bare interiors. Oh! and this one has a very nice brewpub nearby.

Pivero,

you just managed to put two more places on my %26quot;to-do%26quot; list.

I need to vist Zvíkov and Křivoklát. Those places looks wounderful.

I have been to Karlstein, but even in a cold day of march, it was filled with tourists, i can just imagine what it looks like in summertime.

I have also had a few visits to Cesky Krumlov, wounderful place.

Thanks :-)
