Hotel choice?

In June we are travelling from Australia and spending 4 nights in Prague before joining a river cruise, Budapest - Amsterdam.

I have booked an apartment at Hotel and Residence Standard, Nove Mesto and our daughter will be flying in from London to join us. The place looks great on the website and a tram stop is just outside, plus 3 good reviews on TA but now I have seen a new review saying the staff are horrible and to keep away!

Would hate our stay in Prague to be ruined.

Does anyone have experience of this Hotel, have I made a mistake?

Thanks, Meg

I%26#39;m hoping that others will reply to you to reassure you that you have made the right choice but until they do may I make just a small comment ?

Last year my wife %26amp; I had a week in Venice at the Foscari Palace.

We had booked there on the basis of rave reviews and just weeks before we arrived someone posted a completely negative review which caused us much concern.

The short story is that once at Venice we had a fabulous time, the hotel was super and we had no problem at all with the staff that had been so savagely attacked by the %26quot;negative%26quot; report.

My advice is that hotel staff will normally respond to the attitude of the guests.

Have a lovely time and give a positive report when you return.

Thanks Ron, we consider ourselves to be undemanding and polite guests so all should be well. After a long illness this trip is very special and I want it to be a happy time for us!

Isn%26#39;t Venice %26quot;magic%26quot;.
