Trains to/from Paris - Prague

I want to travel to Prague for a short trip. I expect to leave from Paris. What is the best way to get there and back by train?

It takes 12 to 16 hours, and involves several changes in Germany jizdnirady.idnes.cz/ConnForm.asp… , so your %26#39;short break%26#39; would be spent mainly in a train. Cost c. EUR153 each way basic - there are extras for TGV, IC, Sleeper/couchette supplenents as well.

You could fly, but only Air France and CSA fly that route - there are no budget airlines. However, both the above should be cheaper than the train (and a tad quicker as well)

Thanks - I will keep you posted.

Why take a train when you can probably fly there for a LOT less on a budget airline. Are you scared to fly?

I am not sure still about how you feel about flying. If you are not afraid to fly...go to SkyEurope. Paris Orly to Prague is very affordable.

I overlooked that one - Sky Europe is very good www.skyeurope.com . Definitely better than doing it by train.
