We will be in Prague in October for 7 days and are planning on doing a day trip to Terezin. I had read to allow 6 hours for the trip (2 hours travel %26amp; 4 hours there) and was thinking that we might incorporate a visit to the Lobkowicz Chateau in Melnik to sample some Czech wine on the return as it looks to be about halfway between Terezin %26amp; Prague. Has anyone done this trip? If so, do you know the best method of transportation to get from Terezin to Melnik? Do both of these sound reasonable for 1 day? Thanks so much!

You can book a daytrip with the travel agents, such as www.wittmann-tours.com, they offer tours with survivors, which I highly recommend. To include Melnik you would need to have your own car. (I would just do terezin and not combine it, as it is quite exhausting.)
