Ibis Hotel?

There are four IBIS Hotels listed for Prague.

Old Town

Wenceslas Square

Mala Strana

Karlin

Anyone stayed in one or know which is located best for sightseeing, visiting bars etc.

Thanks

We were stayed in Ibis Karin before, the hotel is on the outside margin of the historical centre. The centre can be reached in about 10 minutes by underground or by tram. The best location for sightseeing is either Old Town or Wenceslas Square.

Have fun there.

Many thanks

Old Town has the best sightseeing, bars location. Very central.

The next best is Wenceslas Square.

The one in in Mala Strana has many restaurants and a big mall nearby -- but a short tram ride to see the sights.

I might add that the one in Mala Strana is not in Mala Strana, they changed the name so it sounds better!

Thanks for all responses thus far.

Might someone let me know how to take public transport from the airport to Ibis Old Town?

I believe its Bus 100 to Zličín metro station. Transfer to metro train and take to Náměstí Republiky station.

Then I%26#39;m not sure where to go from there. Any help?

It%26#39;s about 100 meters from the Namesti republiky metro station:

Go to Google Maps:

http://maps.google.com/

Put the hotel address in the search box, like this:

Na Poříčí 5, Prague

And all will be revealed.
